How much do pilots in North America earn?

How much do pilots in North America earn these days? Say you're looking for a new job with an airline. Which ones pay the most (and least) for your type rating and level of experience?

We know that pilot pay varies by company, experience, type of aircraft flown, and so on, but it's hard to get a fix on how to compare one airline's pay rate to another.

Here's some help. A blog called AC Pilot News has a post that compares annual pay at each of a number of different carriers in the U.S. and Canada, for pilots flying the same aircraft type. This blogger has done a lot of homework, and the comparisons are nicely presented as bar graphs, so you can 'get a visual' on where pilots earn the most and least -- and everything in between.
